MacDonald-Gill Insurance has been serving British Columbian’s Insurance needs for 25 years and was started by partners Cheryl MacDonald and Tracey Gill. Since their early beginnings in 1992, Cheryl and Tracey worked six days a week for eight years, steadily growing the business. Their hard work and 52 years of combined experience paid off and in 1998, they relocated from Vancouver to their current office in Coquitlam and built their business into the thriving neighbourhood agency it is. Cheryl is now enjoying much-earned retirement and Tracey runs the company with the same 7 great staff members to take care of you.

Tracey Gill (Nolet) has been an owner of MacDonald-Gill Insurance since inception in 1992, from the humble beginnings on Victoria Drive in Vancouver, to today with the thriving Westwood Plateau, Coquitlam location, she remains a hands on owner and presence. Tracey volunteers with many sporting bodies throughout the Tri Cities and assists with the insurance needs of many community sporting organizations.
Angie Jones (Brown) has been serving our client since 2003. Angie’s focus is with our personal lines products. She enjoys the sun and sand and traveling, whether it be to a campground with her grandchildren or to an exotic locale, making her our resident expert with our travel and leisure products.
Angela Geary (Lugrin) has been with MacDonald-Gill Insurance since 2005. She also holds a level 2 license allowing her to assist all of our client base. Angela and her family are competitive dirt bike racers giving her first hand practical experience and knowledge, for all our Off Road Vehicle enthusiasts.
Karissa Lodewyke has been with our team since 2011. She is the smiling face and leader of our front end. She is an expert at assisting our clients with their Auto and Personal Lines policy needs and also holds a level 2 licence for Commercial Insurance. Karissa is an avid volunteer, with global stewardship being her passion. This compassion is a perfect complement to her customer service excellence.
Jessica Petraschuk joined our team in 2015. She is also a front end smiling face ready to assist all our auto and personal lines customers. She has become our expert with ICBC’s new processing system, Policy Centre, and is our go to resource and problem solver. Jessica has BA in Psychology, making her a perfect fit for working with the public and understanding their needs.
Gabriela Chesley became a part of our team in Summer of 2018 having challenged and passed the licencing exam without any insurance office experience. That take charge attitude made her a perfect fit for our team. She sits right up front and is one of the first faces you will see thus spending the bulk of her day assisting our auto clients. However, sitting on the front line means you juggle it all so she is happy to help with home, travel, boat or motorcycle coverage as well. Gabriela is currently attending B.C.I.T where she studies Marketing and is relied upon for her input in managing our social media and marketing needs.
Jordan Nolet has been a valued administrative support member of our team working with us for a number or years while attending UBC and achieving a Bachelors Degree in Science and now attending Naturopathic Medical School. She is currently working our weekend shifts balancing work with her school schedule. Jordan’s logical thinking is a great asset to our organization keeping our processes efficient. Her studies have and continue to help her drive us to be a health conscious workplace as she embodies and embraces a life of mindful nutrition, sports and fitness.
